		<description>I have come to believe that the timing of the D4 release may be tied to how well the Canon 1D MKIV and as yet unreleased 1Ds MKIV perform. If Nikon views Canon&#039;s offerings as being a competitive threat I believe they are prepared to bring the D4 to market. This is a little like the Intel AMD wars of the past where Intel always had an answer to AMD&#039;s newest release ready to go, but seldom released it until they needed to do so.</description>
